WHAT OUR FANTASTIC PARTICIPANT SAYS

"An expedient experience that can incite the will in our hearts toward focusing more on that part of community that has less attention (people with disability). This project feasibly brought us together aiming to urge youth people to persist courageously on helping in the inclusion of people with disability as a whole, and facilitate what is and inst reliable for them as part of our community.

Different entertainments were not missing as well, aimed an educational affect and reducing cultural barriers between participants coming from 5 different countries."

"ICT Tools for Social Inclusion " was my first youth exchange. I'm glad for the time I spent in Rimnini, the ambitious people i have met and the tons of new things i have learned there. I have always been surrounded by disabled people due to that i studied in that kind of friendly school but i never quite understood the importance of the inclusion outside school. The project is developing, encouraging and potentially growing. Organisation and topics are on point, and i hope they will be even more upgrated so participants would be as much helpful to the outputs as possible.
Modern techniques were used, different enterntainments and projects were also a useful way of understanding the theme and feeling part of the community"

"The project “ICT Tools for social inclusion” has opened my eyes and broaden my knowledge about the issues, which disabled people face in their daily life. In the today’s world, full of rush, we do not pay attention at the problems, which some part of societies might face. This youth exchange made me stop and think how all of us can contribute to meeting these challenges. I have received lots of useful information about ICT tools, which was followed by the practice. At the beginning of the project I couldn’t even imagine, that our contribution will be so significant, and that at the end we will come up with the Accessible map of Rimini. The project “ICT Tools for social inclusion” was held by the professional team, who managed to reach the project goals and even more: by their personal example, they made the participants motivated and work on accessibility problems even after the event. It’s been 3 months as the youth exchange has finished, and I keep using the tools I’ve learned from them about."

"I've been a group leader to many projects in Youth in Action and Erasmus+ programme since 2013. From my experience and knowledge, I would say that this project was something fresh and at the same time setting an innovative approach for the youth sector and this kind of projects. The project was entirely focused on the community and involving young people with working for the inclusion of people with disabilities. Having a multicultural environment with people from several different countries, coming from different background and culture and working together using ICT tools for the community - that leaves a great impact, not only for the community, but as well on us. The programme, organization, people and trainers did their job good. Hopefully in the future, there would be more projects like this, it's a need, not a wish"

"Being part of the youth exchange "ICT Tools for Social Inclusion" opened my eyes about the problems people with difficulties face regarding urban infrastructure and access to public services. Considering the influence modern technologies have on our everyday life, creating and implementing an interactive map could be a successful tool in improving social inclusion. During our activities we explored the city on foot, spoke with the owners of local shops and restaurants and raised awareness of accessibility for people with disability. I hope our work would encourage more initiatives leading to good practices at an international level."
